Alabama - Ikea and the return....Well, on our way back from Alabama it seems we found our way to IKEA in Atlanta. Now, if there was ever a dangerous place for Rhonda and I (other than ANY tech store) this is it! We spent the required amount of time travelling through the tiny store and found a few nick-nacks. One such item was this cabinet for our kitchen.

The kitchen has been a sore spot for me for a while and I know that we have had some plans for what exactly we wanted to do. This thing just popped out at us as a great solution.

Spacious drawers and a nice work area for next to our stove. We really liked it. Thanks to Ron aand Phyllis, and their quick trip to the house for some measuring late in the evening, we found out it would fit great! We carted it back to the house and built it last night.

Just another view for you to see the cabinet.

Love that wood grain, maybe it would look good somewhere else in the kitchen... Well, we'll save that for another time. :) Love ya!

I was so blessed this summer to meet a distant family member who had been handed down a quilt from my great-great-great grandmother, shown in the upper left hand corner, and of course that is me with the quilt in the bottom right hand corner. The generation shown are from her to me through the Hyden side of the family. Another blessing is to have this many photographs of this many generations. Love, Rhonda

Its been a while since I posted any scrapbook pages but I just recently put this one together. Its probably not quite through yet, but I thought I would go ahead and post it. This is for my birthday this year in April. I have been learning how to do a lot of new things and really enjoy digital scrapbooking. I know I will never go back to conventional scrapbooking.

I hope to post more soon, love, Rhonda
